The Packers went to Motown and didn't miss a beat without two of their defensive leaders in a 34-12 rout of the Detroit Lions in a Thanksgiving Day matinee Thursday.

In fact, the Pro Bowl tandem of cornerback Al Harris and linebacker Aaron Kampman, both of whom suffered season-ending knee injuries in the previous game, were hardly missed.

Green Bay's patchwork defense produced a season-high five takeaways, including four interceptions against Lions rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford.

"Our football team's about defense," Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said. "Our defense was huge (Thursday). The ability to keep taking the ball away from the offense was the number one factor in our success."
