Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is battling a left high ankle sprain that is expected to sideline him for the team's next two games, but still raises questions, a source told ESPN. Ansah underwent an MRI on his ankle last week and will seek a second opinion, which will not be rendered until Tuesday, according to the source. For now, the Lions do not think the injury will sideline Ansash more than the next couple of games, but the final doctor's opinions are not in, and the Lions still need to see how quickly he can bounce back. Ansah, a key component to Detroit's defense, was officially ruled out Friday for the Lions' game against the Packers on Sunday.
Another wet fart, with plenty of weirdness to the end; the Lions rarely just lose flat out with nothing else to talk about. Oh no, they gave us plenty to talk about, but why stop there? We’re on to Chicago. It’s the Bears baby, and at the very least there’s a better chance the Lions have to actually take a win here. Maybe? God, that would suck if they lost to Brian Hoyer. Either way, we’re looking for your questions in our mailbag segment. We’ve been busy renovating the PODcast and adding some extra firepower, but our favorite time is always reading your questions about the Detroit Lions, life, liberty and chicken wings.
