Believe it or not, but Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden didn’t actually break his elbow attempting to catch his dropped iPhone. That’s the story that was put out by running backs coach Gary Brown, but it turns out to be false. Go figure. McFadden cleared the air a bit recently, telling the real story to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “I just slipped down and landed on my elbow,” McFadden said. “My phone was in my hand, and so people kind of put that story out.” McFadden also told the Democrat-Gazette that the injury occurred in his friend’s backyard following a funeral.
