Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner isn't playing Sunday against the Tennessee Titans as a precaution a week after hitting his head against the turf. That gives Matt Leinart his first start since 2007 against the quarterback taken ahead of him in the 2006 draft. Warner practiced throughout the week and had been listed as questionable.

Quarterback Kurt Warner has taken the normal amount of snaps in practice this week and he's expected to play Sunday against the Titans.

Warner suffered a concussion last week in St. Louis and didn't play in the second half. He passed neurological tests early in the week and has not cut back on his normal amount of practice work.

The Cardinals aren't saying that Warner definitely will play. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Warner will be evaluated each day but that all signs are pointing to Warner playing.

"We'll still taking it one day at a time, but we're certainly optimistic he'll play on Sunday," Whisenhunt said.

It's telling that Warner hasn't decreased his workload.
