No other group has symbolized the Cardinals' two decades of futility more than the offensive line. Every coach who came through the desert said all the right things about building the offensive line, and the team has invested considerable resources into developing a workable group.

Nothing much has worked. Sometimes, the offensive line has been the root of the problems. At other times, it's been unfairly blamed for the problems caused by others.

This year, the Cardinals are hoping that stability equals improvement. For only the second time since the club moved to Arizona in 1988, the offensive line is returning intact. All the same players are playing the same positions.

It's only May, but the Cardinals think they can already see the advantages of having a group...

A Tampa judge has sentenced former NFL running back Troy Hambrick to five years in prison for selling crack cocaine. The former Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals player was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday. Hambrick pleaded guilty on Feb. 26 to one count of distributing 50 grams or more of crack cocaine.

Arizona Cardinals inside linebacker Karlos Dansby signed a one-year tender offer worth just over $8 million Thursday as the team's franchise player. Intermittent talks about a long-term deal have stalled. The Cardinals and Dansby have until July 15 to reach a multiyear contract.
