NFL - Scoop Du Jour

Mike TiceSince becoming an NFL coach in 1996, Mike Tice has worked with three teams: close to a decade with the Minnesota Vikings, four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and last year as the offensive line coach for the Chicago Bears. He may soon add a fourth employer.

The 52-year-old has one year left on his contract with the Bears, but the Chicago Tribune reports that the Tennessee Titans are interested in hiring him away to be the offensive coordinator for new head coach Mike Munchak.

It's unclear whether the Bears will grant permission for Tice to interview for the job, the Tribune reports. Teams don't have to grant permission unless the job is for head coach.

Tice would replace the recently fired Mike Heimerdinger.
