Seahawks bringing back hurt Tatupu?

“LofaWhen you hear the words "muscle" and "tear" in the same phrase, you generally look for the term "season-ending" somewhere nearby, but the Seattle Seahawks apparently don't see it that way. Head coach Jim Mora doesn't seem to think the muscle tear of linebacker Lofa Tatupu's(notes) pectorals will keep him out for the rest of the year.

The Pro Bowler's muscle is reportedly "only" partially torn so Tatupu could be back by the end of the season, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. "After further review and further imaging, we're not certain yet Lofa is done," Mora said in his weekly press conference. "They did an MRI test, and it doesn't look like the muscle and tendons are completely detached from the bone."

If you want to get out for the rest of the season, Tatupu, you've got to get that thing completely detached.

The season's already over. Shut the guy down and save him for when the hawks might actually have a chance. There's no use risking further injury.

Lofa is a warrior and a true leader. He will do everything in his power to get back on the field. As for all you glass half empty Hawks fans....the season is not over...yet. There is still a chance we can pull this one out and it all starts after the bye week. We get Trufant, Sims, and Leroy Hill back. This is going to be a recharged team and I believe they will make a run.
Check out this article, it breaks down the schedule for the Hawks, Cardinals and 49ers. It looks like we have a shot:

Yeah all said and done... the defensive is not as crippled as the offense is. WE NEED AN O-LINE, it looks like a Victoria Secret commercial, so almost naked, the opposing defense can see through everything.

Looks like we let the wrong guy go!!! Ruskell pushed Holmgren out and it should have been the other way around. I wish only the best for Holmgren and family. I will support whatever team he goes to next year. He is a class act!! GO HAWKS!!!

    localshoppers360,
It appears you are living in the dream world....dude come back on ground and see whats going on in this Org.
Until they get a strong sustainable O-line in place, their is no chance of winning any games in this season be it at Road or At home.
At the end of season we will be 4-12 (with win against Lions and Rams) and Jim Mora/Greg Knapp on the Hot seat for 2010 season...if they dont address the roaster issue. TR will most likely loose his Job as a GM...and they will hire some football brain as the GM.
All junky overpaid stars will be CUT and let go, we will see the young blood in this team...Matt and WJones will retire due to ongoing injuries. Matt going to get one more season ending BAD hit bcos of this 4th string street level O-line.
No wonder Patric Willis was able to do what he was asked to do...bcos noone from this VICTORIA secret O-line came in with blocking help for Matt....all are selfish guys and tried to save their Axx...during that play.
I would ask Matt to whip them instead of treating them with special gifts.
Reason he ws scrambling last Sunday was to save his life....I have not seen such a pathetic O-line playing for Hawks in decades.

if the mans hurt don't risk permanant injury bringing him back when he isn't fully healed...the hawks have been inconsistant since thier loss to the steelers in the superbowl back in 05...which was heavly offiiated in favor of steelers to win anyway...with that being said they haven't been the same since..and every time they face brett favre it looks like they throw the game and hand it to him just cuz that was hasslebacks mentor?...that is gay!..they have to get more quality players that want to win all the time not when it suits them..seneca doesn't look like a qb out there and the team appears like they don't vibe with him for some reason whenever hassleback is hurt or can't play...if there are primadonna's on this team then weed them out and get talent that wants play ball and win!..
they are in need of a quality qb cuz i don't think hassleback has too many miles left in his tank and these nagging injurys to his back and ribs are only bringing the team down...this will be the second year in a row they won't make the playoffs if things don't turn around fast...the talent is there.. a quality qb needs to be picked up besides hassleback...senaca doesn't have the team support and should shipped off somewhere else if thats the case...
