A contingent from the Miami Dolphins is scheduled to work out Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan and offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus on campus Monday, according to Cherilus's agent, Greg Diulus.

Yet while Ryan is garnering more attention, not to be overlooked is how Cherilus (6 feet 6 inches, 314 pounds) has built momentum this offseason, most recently running impressive 40 times of 5.00 and 5.06 at BC's Pro Day according to the Boston Globe.

A projected mid-to-late first-round pick, Cherilus had dinner with a five-member contingent from Carolina that night — a group that included Panthers general manager Marty Hurney and offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson — and he has visits scheduled with the Falcons, Giants, Steelers, and Lions. The Vikings also are attempting to schedule a visit, while the Bears and Jets were previously in to work him out.

Not much difference between Ryan and Beck that I can see. Beck may be a little more accurate. 19 ints for Ryan last year. I say take Chris Long!

I believe they will trade the pick to Dallas for thier 2- 1st rounders, and maybe a player, giving us 4 impact picks in the first 2 rounds (OT? DE? S/CB? and I like that QB from Deleware- Flacco?). Now thats building rifgt there baby!

Yeah, all we need is another QB. We don't need an offensive line. I mean look how good we have been lately with all of the QBs we stocked up on over the last few years. QB is the answer to ALL of the Dolphins problems I say!!!! We can draft Ryan and just forfeit the rest of our draft because he can win it all by himself. Just make plans for the SB for Miami once we get Ryan. hahahahaha WAFJ!!!!

Ryan cant do anything while he is flat on his back. No way he is worth the first pick anyway.

Ryan is not worth the risk at #1 for miami, work on the O-line let Beck and Mcown compete for the starting job
next season. The turn around from 1-15 season will not happen over night. let see what Parcells can do?

With Help From Boston Quaterback Matt Ryan the dolphins will be unstoppable they will win next year Super Bowl if they could win every game without losing a single game, i'll be happy if they win. Miami is not going for Mr. Long because we have the Bengals Wide Revier Chad Johnson the dolphins however they do in the postseason and they will come back and have Revenge on the niners in the year when i was born in 1985 but the dolphins kicker Ray Finkle kicked it wide and hated Dan Manio on his team because he and Dan were teammates in a movie with Jim Carrey and he saw Ray wants to kill his teammate Dan because he kicked it wide
