Aaron Rodgers found out how much tougher it is against a quality NFL defense with a multiple scheme than in his second exhibition start.
After a solid performance in his starting debut last week, the Green Bay Packers' new quarterback played the entire first half Saturday night against the San Francisco 49ers and looked much more like a young player finding his way in the Packers' ugly 34-6 loss to 49ers at Candlestick Park.
Rodgers had six possessions before leaving the game at halftime, including a final series with 51 seconds left in the first half, and took a total of 26 snaps. Those possessions provided only three points and included four three-and-outs. He finished his one half of play with a passer rating of 64.1 points (9-for-16 passing for 58 yards) and was fortunate to avoid what would have been a potential interception deep in Packers territory on that final possession of the half when safety Dashon Goldson dropped a throw on which Rodgers had over-led receiver Donald Driver.

I'd suggest waiting to see how things play out before shooting your mouth off, but with your team's history I guess the preseason is the best time for it.
How's YOUR quarterback situation going by the way? :)

Our quarterback situation would have been much better with Favre - AS WOULD YOURS!!! LMAO!! There is absolutely no doubt, however, that the Vikes will definitely dominate the NFC North. No doubt whatsoever. And Green Bay's "leadership" is, and will be, the laughing stock of the league!!! Wear that green & gold proudly! LOL
GO VIKINGS GO!!!!!!!

After last week I posted that Rodgers doesnt see blitzes, doesnt point them out to backs (ala Manning), doesnt audible (ala Favre quick slants) and doesnt get rid of the ball.
After last week I felt there was no need for panic but there was nothing that gave me a ton of hope either. This week was worse against the 2nd dominating pre-season defense. If it continues Rodgers will get hurt and we will be watching a rookie instead of Favre.
