Washington Redskins head coach Jim Zorn's team may not have the worst record in the league (four teams are tied with 0-5 records), but he does seem to have the least support coming to him from the front office.
With a 2-3 record against a weak schedule, the Redskins haven't looked good this year and the questions keep on coming about whether Zorn is going to get canned or not. Vinny Cerrato, the Redskins' executive vice president of football operations, wouldn't give such an endorsement last week when given the chance.
Now three of the team's name players are anonymously telling the Washington Post that players want the front office to give Zorn that vote of confidence so they can all move ahead in the season together and not have to deal with the constant questioning.
Otherwise, the team feels divided, the players told the paper as they prepared to take on one of those winless teams, the Kansas City Chiefs. Maybe the brass is waiting to see if the Redskins can at least put together a win against Kansas City before deciding on Zorn.

This team will get no support from me so long as Vinny Ceratto is still employed by the team. I won't spend money on the team so long as Daniel Snyder is owner. People who really love the franchise should follow suit.

2) Zorn makes bad calls. His worst call was not hiring an offensive coordinator. He looks lost and bewildered on the sidelines.
3) I think that Zorn's playcalling has a trickle down effect. Granted, the players aren't all that great, but if the players are (either openly or privately) questioning the playcalling, then how can they really execute with confidence? The Chiefs don't have a great record, but they play with heart, and most of that team has a lot of holdovers from when edwards was coaching. Zorn has been here how long, and things aren't getting better?

SNYDER is the main problem, and has been for TEN YEARS. He has worked hard at it, and now is an unqualified success: He is now the worst owner in football, outside of Al Davis.
And we all know he and Vinnie are "on the down low" together...'cause ain't no other way that guy sticks around.
You can run down the list of quality players over the years that Snyder has fired from the team, and probably start a Super Bowl level team. [Anybody remember that All-Pro Champ Bailey was drafted by these dudes?]
Look at the quality coaches he has fired: Marvin, Marty. The Hall of Famer, Gibbbs who ran away from this train wreck.
Why would anyone WANT to join this mess? I hope Portis, Campbell, Sellers, and everybody else with any class RUNS AWAY from this team [and I AM A LIFELONG REDSKIN FAN] because they'll have NOTHING here for their troubles but mediocrity.

Get rid of that Keebler elf of an owner and then maybe you can start reporting on the Skins being anything but a joke of a franchise.

if i was the owner i would tell them to just play an if you cant follow what the coach says then its his ass that will get fired. i wish i could see the day when a player gets fired for going against ownership like like we are seeing in Washington, what a bunch of [profane]ass, f-sticks.
