Don Shula's comments that any championship won by the New England Patriots this year would be tainted because of Spygate figures to give coach Bill Belichick a reason to hand out another beating.

Gary Myers of the New York Daily News wroted that Belichick probably wanted to score 100 points on New York Jets coach Eric Mangini. Now the winless Dolphins could well feel Belichick's wrath as the result of Shula's words.

Yeah, I think that's a given. I think that Belichik has imbused the Patriots with a sense of us-against-the-world, and who so doubt us shall be punished!

Compare the 72 Dolphins players and coaches to our NE Patriots and see how the two teams would've stood up against each other, then Coach Shula will see that his team wasn't that good. Open mouth stick foot in and keep your remarks to anybody who would want to listen to you. By the way, Coach Shula, I love your restaraunt in Providence. At least you can comment on that.

Who cares what Shula says. All these years I wanted any team to go undefeated so we wouldn't have to hear anymore talk of that 1972 team uncorking another champagne bottle each time the last team of the year lost their first game. Now there's a legitimate shot of this happening, and Shula whines about something that happened one quarter into the first game. Even the commisioner said that footage wasn't used in that game- just for future games. So this spygate should be put to rest, it has not won any game for the Pats. They are clearly the best team. All Shula has demonstrated is he has no class.

Belichick & the Pats are victims of their own success. What is happening now is an example of the media seeking out stories where there are none. Videogate? Is Belichick the only coach in the NFL to try that stunt? Of course not. And if he is so smart, how did he get caught? Duh. The whole thing is beyond petty. The Pats are supposed to play football for 60 minutes each and every time they hit the field. If Belichick trains them to do anything less, then he is preparing them to loose. They beat the Colts (and the bad officiating last Sunday) exactly because they have been trained not to give up.

I don't think Belichick would intentionally try to embarass the current Dolphins because of what Shula said. He has little connection with this team, and as such, he's no more than an old guy flapping his lips for a little attention. As far as destroying the Jets, I hope the Pats give them the worst beating in the history of the game.

The Pats have been stealing signals for years. It is about time they got caught. If you know what play the other team is calling, it sure makes your job easier and can give you those fourth quarter heroics that have won game after game for the Pats all these years. Why does it seem like they always have the perfect play to win the game? Because they knew what you would do. If the Pats are as good as everyone claims, why did they feel the need to cheat in such a dubious way? I say ban them from the league for a season, like the NFL does to individual players. Then it will stop for sure.

One of these days all the haters and doubters will wise up and keep their poison inside their mouths. But then again it's understandable...they have nothing else to hold on to but Spygate. The Patriots will destroy everything in their path until the final wistle at the Super Bowl and the league will have to accept it. They will show no mercy, for they are shown none.
Having being a Pats fan for 35 years -seen the good, the bad and the very ugly- has taught me not to trash talk...but this time it's different. This team is pretty good, boys!

all shula said was that it will be ashame if the pats go undefeated to have the spygate tied to it and thats true. he in no way diminished their accomplishments. to say that don shula has no class only show ones stupidity. the press has made a big deal out of a comment on a local radio show interview. and for all you guys saying that the cheating was for one game or one quarter of the first game, you
