NFL - Sports Rumors

New England Patriots' season-ticket holders are beginning to receive their admission slips to the ten games that will be played at Gillette Stadium in 2008.

The ten tickets commemorate great moments in Patriots history. And a franchise that has been to six Super Bowls, winning three of them, should be able to quickly come up with a ten-pack of great moments - for example, the six AFC title game victories, the three Super Bowl wins, and the Snow Bowl/Tuck Rule game against the Raiders in the 2001 playoffs that launched the run of three Super Bowl titles in four seasons.

But, somehow, the Pats have opted to include their largest single-game margin of victory as one of the ten moments.

Possibly because the team on the wrong end of that 56-3 score was the New York Jets.

Stuff like this keeps rivalries going. If there weren't rivalries in sports they would be kind of dull. The Jets should count themselves lucky they can't meet the Pats in a Superbowl. Its not about being Classy its about selling tickets and creating revenue. You know if the shoe was on the other foot they would do the same.

If anything this "classless?"organization is not rubbing it in.Watch this team week in and week out ,they are far from classless.
As for what you are going to say next, the camera was legal up untill 2007 ,and it was in plain sight .

the jets are rivals of pats therefore why wouldn't they feature a pic of largest rivalry victory.spy-gate DID happen, bet ,if they wanted, pats could dig dirt on jets, or that STUPID man from pa. ARLEN the A****** precious Eagles and splash it thru media, but maybe there is some class involved with pats. many LOSER haters of pats out there. GET BETTER, NOT UGLIER . dropping a dime DID NOT make jets any better, they still stunk. no one else had cameras and EVERYONE still kicked their A**.

k9dog - Love that you are already defending the fact that they're cheaters before anyone ever even brought it up.
And that's just how it'll be for Pats fans for the rest of your lives... The fact that they cheated and got caught will always be the first thing people point out about the Pats forever... It'll be that metaphorical turd in the punchbowl. No matter how sweet, tasty, nutricious, or satisfying that punch might be, that floating turd will ALWAYS be bobbing up and down, infecting any future successes with toxic diseased feces.

As a jets fan I have no problem with this. Earn it on the field like they did. Stop being such a second rate organization and get it together. One thing that pats fans forget, though, is that their history is just as bad as it is good. Many years in there of being the worst team in football. Pre Parcels is not such a great history. Spygate didn't help either.

Now the Jets are going to be really mad and they're going to come out and attack the patriots when they play.
So this year they'll only lose 56-10.

The jests. Victories over them will always be the best. And there will be many more. Don't expect to win jests at least until brady retires in about 10 years. hahahahahaha

If your ignorant enough to think that every team in the nfl hasn't been practicing video taping, audio recording and visual sign stealing from the beginning of time in football - then your fooling yourself. this is something that happens in all sports and always has - but, until now it's always been called "competitive edge" - until Mangini tattle-tailed on for personal reasons (this isn't Kindergarten where Bill too Eric's toy away).

that's just perfect. being a jets fan is like going to prison, willingly, over and over again.
although if the pats wanted to include another great top moment — to make it 11, they could use the one where tom brady got pummeled repeatedly in the last super bowl. you know they one that showed the world an unprecedented sense of failure on part of the patriots. wow that was a dissappointing end for a truly unique team that alwys displayed a feeling of raw childlike brashness and discourtesy, coupled with decisions to cheat each and every sunday they took the field against nfl teams unwilling to partake in such corrupt behavior.
    oh and....
    j-e-t-s jets jets jets!!!!!!!!!!!!!
