Ex-con Michael Vick(notes) may end up filling the spot Brett Favre(notes) once filled. The Green Bay Packers organization is apparently doing lots on research on Vick and has had a bunch of internal conversations about what it would take to sign him, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The 29-year-old Vick is supposedly getting interest from somewhere though at least 20 NFL teams have said he won't be on their roster this season. The Packers won't say that and Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy went so far as to say that he didn't see anything happening there.
But those internal discussions are apparently still going on and could still go somewhere. You never know.
