NFL - Scoop Du Jour

Fans of the CFL's British Columbia Lions have to be concerned. It appears that the team is going to lose star defensive end Ricky Foley this offseason. As any fan of the Canadian Football League (you know who you are) will tell you, Foley led the league in sacks last year with 12.

The 6'2", 245-pound 27-year-old is apparently meeting with the New England Patriots tomorrow, according to the Boston Herald. He's reportedly already met with the New York Jets and has a meeting scheduled with the St. Louis Rams so it appears that he's moving on up to get his piece of the pie.

Guess Cameron Wake(notes), the linebacker who moved from the BC Lions to the Miami Dolphins last offseason, must have given him some pointers on making the jump to American football.
