NFL - Sports Rumors

Terrell Owens(notes) doesn't forgive or forget. The Dallas Morning News reported Owens, now a member of the Buffalo Bills, blames Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo(notes) and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett for his ticket out of Texas.

T.O. finally said as much in a somewhat public forum: a Twitter reply to a fan who said he wasn't happy that the Cowboys cut the Original 81, according to the Morning News.

neither ws i, blame the OC & romo!! but i'm happy 2 b where i am but i miss the other guys tht were & r true teammates!!

(No, this isn't another Twitter impostor. There's a link to @terrellowens81 from T.O.'s official Website, which unfortunately no longer features the rap classic he recorded after signing with the Cowboys.)

Romo and the Cowboys are gonna regret cutting T.O. He's definitely a top 5 wide receiver in the NFL. Owens made Romo. Romo's stats will never be as good as they were with T.O. However, if Trent Edwards doesn't have a breakout year, then he's done in Buffalo. Go Bills!!!!

As a player I like Owens. I like his prodection and his work ethic. But, every player is not conspiring against him. Unfortunately it's been the same everywhere. Every team Owens has played for, someone was conspiring against TO. Some people are just that way, and that is sad.

Romo will never be able to win big games for the Cowboys; T.O. was right to say this. He will bolster the Bills by stretching the field, dropping some key passes perhaps, but defenses will have to account for him at all times. T.O. will fundamentally change the dynamics of the AFC East this season, making it a tight three-team race between the Bills, Pats, and Dolphins.

TO is as physically gifted an athlete as any in the NFL. I blame Garret for all our late season woes...he's no Gods gift to anything until he can prove that he can get his best weapons the ball at will and win big games late in the season. Bothers me that he runs the same offense with little variation from snap one of week one to the last play of the season. Love Romo, love our RBs, love our D and, complimentary weapons, still love TO....if no playoff wins this year send JG packing!!!

The Cowplops need to lose a few more "average players" before they can win anything, Owens is just the loudest millionaire crybaby. Jerry Jones will over pay anyone on the team before they prove themselves. Everytime he makes another millionaire, they retire to easy street (see Roy Williams, either one).

I hated him when he arrived in Big D, but I allowed myself to be won over. Now I pray that he never sees the super bowl and in the next 10 years he is pushed out of all the stat categories. Then he should die a penniless pauper.

Blame me and about 10 million other Cowboys fans T.O. We wanted you out as well. I will make it public and say that I called Jerry Jones personally and asked that they cut you.....We may be fans, but we knows what's best for the organization.....Buffalo needs a spirited DRAMA lift so do your part and separate that locker room to.

T.O. is very smart when it comes to the media. He knows the only way to get any print or coverage is to mention Dallas. Nobody cares if he says anything about his new teammates on the Buffalo Argonauts.

Of course he blames other people for his own transgressions. Always will because thats the kind of classless garbage he has always been. He wasn't a team player, never has been. He's alienated people to the point where everywhere he goes, people want him out. Wasn't just in Jerryland. I hope Buffalo crashes and burns just based on principle. Sign junk.... be junk !!!

the only superbowl the cowgirlz will see this year is if they find an oversized toilet!
the ONLY way they will get to the real superbowl is to buy a ticket like all the rest of the spectators!

T.O. a top 5 reciever, you can't be serious. I could put together a 2 hour film reel of all of the dropped balls over the past two years. Not to mention another hour of film showing the plays that he gave up on because he is afraid of being hit going across the middle. Top 5, my a$$.

T.O. will be quiet in Buffalo for the first year, just long enough to figure out which teammates will be on your side, and then the cycles begins and continues like it did in SF, Philly, and Dallas. T.O., u forget WHO MADE U...the QB's! Without them U have no STATS. Everyone knows if things don't work out in Buffalo...then ur on your way to Canada to join the CFL to ensure your legacy (drama) continues. Gifted athlete, poor teammate, misunderstood by the press and the public.
