Owens: 2008 Cowboys better than Super Bowl Eagles

Terrell Owens was an intregal part of the 2004 Eagles that won 13 games and went to Super Bowl XXXIX, but in comparing that team to the 2008 Dallas Cowboys, T.O. didn't hesitate to say the 'Boys are "way more talented."

"This is probably one of the best that I've been on. I think, pretty much, the talent that we have is pretty much at every position."

Owens, who was on a conference call Thursday to talk about Monday night's Eagles-Cowboys game in Dallas, said the rivalry is one of the best in the NFL.

"When I was [an Eagle] you felt the intensity, the tension throughout the course of the week, and I mean tension in a good way that everybody is anxious and looking forward to the game," Owens said. "It's no different here. Before I was with either team there was already an established rivalry. I'm fortunate to have played on both sides of it."

Owens also had this to say in the conference call: "[Defensive coordinator] Jim Johnson knows that I'm a very explosive player. I'm a vital part of this offense. I'm always knowing that there are going to be double teams and sometimes triple teams. You know dropping linebackers off into some vulnerable spots for them. I know I'm going to see [Eagles safety Brian Dawkins] over the top just to protect the corners a little bit

    Lmaooo , Neva The Eagles Made It To The SuperBowl Game Without T.O. ( He Was Injured ) The Offense Was McNabb & Westbrook , The Eagles Defense Was More Scary Than The Cowboys Defense , The Eagles Could Rush The QB , Stop The Run And Denied The Deep Ball , The Cowboys Can Stop The Run , Rush The QB But They Cant Stop The Pass At All They Suck At It Big Time.....So T.O. Needs To Shut Up And Stop Crying , T.O. Is A Fun Player To Watch But He Needs To Stop Dissin McNabb & The Eagles Until He Puts Number Outstanding VS The Eagles I Dont Want To Hear It Anymore Either Put Up Or Run Your On Another Way....

    I agree that these Cowboys are better than the 2004 Eagles talent wise but is doesn`t mean anything unless we win the Superbowl.Go Cowboys!!!

    The game......As good as both offenses looked last week, I see this becoming a defense dominated game. Turnovers and penalties could be fatal in this game. I'm ready for some football on Monday night. Let's get it on.

    the jets are NEVER RATED YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT, to be better than any team in the NFL they need to win a few or 10 superbowls..they havent won a superbowl since joe namath wore pantie hose and fur jackets in the 60's I think that mangini should make out with brett farve and distract the other teams...lmao

    I agree, C10. But the Jets do have an intangible this year in Favre. You never know what that sucker might do. Did you know the odds makers have the Jets favored over New England by 2 and a half points? Not that I'm betting that way, lmao.

    The Cowboys are more talented on paper, but they have yet to prove it on the field to the media, skeptics, and even to the diehard fans such as myself. As a Cowboy fan I just hope they can prove to us the paper credential's are not just paper, but the real deal.

    Hey AmericasFan aka cloudten , Your Right My JETS Isn't On Top Year In & Year Out But Im Loyal , But What's The Excuse For The CowGirls?......How The Cowgirls Score 30+ Points VS The Giants just to get shutdown in the postseason , if you beat a team easly like the cowgirls did vs the giants then the third one should be a piece of cake but no they got punched in the mouth , my point is yes my jets aint rated on top year in year out but the cowgirls are rated year in & year out just make the playoff and leave 3 hours later , i understand ur a cowgirls fan but facts are facts lady....

    kid K, the Cowboys will choke like the do "every year"??? I guess going to 8 super bowls and winning 5 of them is considered choking......Philly has yet to win ONE Super Bowl so New York Kid, go back to bed, get your bottle and go nighty night..... GO COWBOYS!

    New York Kid......Beating any team a third time in the same season is always a tough chore. Ask any expert. Also, the team that veat them went on to win the SB against the undefeated Patriots. Us Cowboy fans acknowledge that the Giants were the better team that day.
    I wish your Jets good luck this season. I think ALL real football fans are Favre fans.

    Wow, this game is gonna be intense. I'm gonna have to switch back and forth between CBS and ESPN, just realized the Ravens are playing at the same time as the Philly/Dallas game. ALthough, I'm a die hard Skins fan, I feel obliged to follow the Ravens a bit since they are in MD. Good morning everyone, HAIL!!
