New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning(notes) has had a lot of troubles with his feet this season and the troubles have apparently gotten worse, according to the New York Post. Because of this, the team is supposedly considering just putting him on the bench for the rest of the season.
Manning apparently has a "stress reaction" on a bone in his right foot that hurts like hell. That could lead to a stress fracture, which would definitely put him on the shelf for the rest of the year.
But with a 6-5 record that puts his team in third place in the NFC East, it seems silly to overwork the guy. This team isn't going anywhere close to the Super Bowl this year.

Can't blame Yahoo for liking the G-Men though. SuperBowl two years ago. Last year best record in NFC. AT 5-0 they looked real good.

Interestingly enough, even though you say this season is over for the Giants, there are still 5 games left to be played. If the Giants win two in a row, they would have a Wild Card Spot at the very least, but get you're jawwing in now, being a Cowboys fan it's just about that time of year when your team becomes the laughing stock of the NFL.

our defense sucks not our qb. if someone doesn't show our lb's and db's how to cover OR tackle, you're right.

This is perfect week for it. We have what is currently one of the most inept offenses in the game coming into town -- a perfect chance to get the D back on track. Give Carr the start and let's see if they can't get this thing turned around.

If the timetable is correct, Romo, who will not require surgery, will miss three games. The Cowboys have a bye Nov. 9.
Romo was not available for comment.
