Yes the JETS should have beat up a very weak, sad fish team. Their off. has to use gimics to move the ball. they don't have the confid. to let their qb to qb. Dan Marino is long gone and they have had been one of the worst team since. The sun shines on a dogs butt every once in awhile and that's what happened Mon. The Jets have beaten them 12 out of 14 times. Last year was because of Chads( ex. Jet ) leadership but now with him out for the year they won't win more then 5 games, if their lucky.

I think the Jets are great. The Monday night game was wonderful. The Wildcat is obviously more than a gimmick, though. So many teams in both the pros and college are using it because it creates mismatches all over the field. As much as I love the Jets, the Patriots and Bill, my first love is the Dolphins. They have struggled mightily these past few years, but I think they will return to the top of the greatest division in all of football. The Bills, Patriots, and Dolphins have been to the Superbowl so many times in the 80s nineties and 2000 that it is almost not fair to the rest of the AFC. The Jets have had to contend with those teams (and Rich Kotite) and I think they struggled because of it. However, the team they have now is legitimate. With Sanchez (an underrated Erik Ainge as backup) and the weapons at wideout, the sky is literally the limit. All they need is a few more of Cleveland's best players...jk, but seriously!!!

As to the Monday night game- keep in mind the Fin's ran the wild cat as well as they ever have and ever will. There QB played out of his mind, they had no turnovers, and the Jets D was totally unprepaired and flat. By the way give all that you still needed to score a TD w/ 6 sec left to win. And your home on Monday Night!!! That should have been a 30 pt win for Miami. We play like crap, you play great at home and need a last sec. TD to win.

alex m fake punt runs aren't gimmick they are meant to catch teams off guard, the wild cat "formation" was created because the dolphins lack of talent on there offense at the time so by putting the ball in there only good players hands they were able to gain yards, and have stuck with it since therefore gimmick.

And if I do recall the Jets have their own "Wildcat" package. Just like every other team in the league. Why wouldn't you want Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown on the field at the same time? I love football it is the only REAL sport. I do not have a favorite team but I do root for whoever is playing NEW ENGLAND them I can not stand. I really hope Detroit does better but we have so many 0-5 teams now it is hard to root for the underdog. I think you are going to see a Colts-Giants SB that will be a good one as we all know big brother won the only meeting.
