Jessica Simpson a jinx to Romo, Cowboys?

The next time Tony Romo wants to invite the superstar singer he's dating to Texas Stadium for a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, he should reconsider according to the Los Angeles Times.

On Sunday, current flame Jessica Simpson was in a luxury suite, and the Cowboys lost, 10-6. Under the "Jessica Jinx," Romo completed 13 of 36 passes for 214 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions for a 22.2 rating — the lowest single-game rating of his career. He also bruised the thumb area on his throwing hand.

Romo's previous low rating came last Christmas when the Eagles defeated the Cowboys, 23-7, in front of then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood. The "Carrie Curse" led Romo to pass for a career-low 142 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for a 45.5 rating.

Maybe it isn't ther Jessica Jinx or the Carrie Curse. I think it is just a case of the Eagles D stepping up and giving the Dallas Offense more than they could handle yesterday. You guys are definitely going to the Playoffs, as are the Patriots but the Eagles, showed both of you what they are made of. McNabb still looked awful, except for a couple scrambles, but Westbrook was the man. Heard all about how Barber was going to show his stuff, but Westbrook, on a gimpy knee, outclassed him and Jones.

Romo needs to concentrate on football and he won a few games and he thinks he is Troy or Roger, running around with jessica simpson and saying this is a dream, shows he is not ready yet to handle both worlds and this loss proves it, dump her and concentrate on that football job.

It is not a jinx she just kept him up late and tired him out. He needs to learn not to be with her the night before game. Just need to learn how to manage your time and priorities. She zapped all his strength.

Even the greatest of players (like Jordan, Rice, Bird, etc.) had their occasional "bad days at the office". Not that Romo is great or anything (he needs to win like these guys first), but give the guy a break. Until we see a pattern of games like this, then we can give him the old "Rex Grossman" treatment. Lighten up, people!!!!!!!
Besides, the L.A. Times is always looking for a major story, and this is NOT one LOL. In the words of Chucky, "Paparazzi scumbags". LOL

Obviously Romo's game mind frame, can not withstand his flavor of the month being in attendance. If Jessica doesn't want to get booed, she should not attend any more games. And that goes for all the future flavor of the months-STAY HOME!

The Cowgirls will lose at least one of the next two games. We'll see what the league office says to Roy Williams about his horse collar and the moron that speared the Philly TE early on in the game....No flag? WTF. Fine at the very least.

Let me say first I'm not a Dallas fan. However, I love hearing all these people calling Romo a flash in the pan or saying he should concentrate on football, as if having a life outside of football is the reason for losses. (Man, how do all those married players do it?!). News flash, people, teams lose. Players have bad games. To be a "flash in the pan" would require that he have a few good games and then never be that good again. Last time I checked, the Eagles game was only the second loss of the season. I also noticed that Romo's stats appear to be 101. rating, 35 TDs to 17 Ints, 3800+ yards, and about 65% completion rate. Romo may not be able to keep up this level of play; it would be tough for most QBs to do so. But it takes more than one loss to declare someone a flash in the pan.

Romo needs to make a choice. His choice of Jessica was a really bad one because all she smells is money. Now his choice is SEX or FOOTBALL. He has already shown he can't handle both.
Okay Romo, what is gonna be?????
