Matt Walsh, the former New England Patriots video assistant who has suggested he has damaging information on Bill Belichick's now out-of-business spying operation, is still playing hard-to-get with the NFL the New York Daily News reported.
"At some point, I will run out of patience," commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday as the league meetings wrapped up.
Goodell doesn't appear to want the issue to fade away without talking to him, but even if he was trying to apply pressure on Walsh yesterday, Walsh apparently is under no obligation to speak to the league. Goodell wants an agreement between the lawyers for the league and Walsh to be worked out so he can hear what Walsh has to say and either put SpyGate to bed or relaunch the investigation if Walsh has the goods on Belichick.
