The Philadelphia Eagles are supposedly trying to unload backup quarterback A.J. Feeley(notes) now that Michael Vick(notes) has started to show that he's still got a pretty good feel for this game of football. And the rumor is that the New England Patriots are very interested in bringing Feeley a little further up into the Northeast, according to NFL.com.
The Pats cut a quarterback, Kevin O'Connell(notes), from the squad on Sunday so there's some room for Feeley, but the Eagles apparently don't want to make a trade until it is totally clear exactly when Commissioner Roger Goodell will allow Vick to get back into an official game.
Of course the Patriots aren't the only team interested in Feeley. The St. Louis Rams have also supposedly asked after him.
