NFL - Scoop Du Jour

Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Kevin Kolb(notes) is hoping that the Arizona Cardinals, a team in search of a QB, takes a look at him this offseason, according to Philly.com. The site reports that just before the Super Bowl, Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald(notes) gave the team's front office some advice about the quarterback position in Arizona, and suggested Kevin Kolb as a possible target.

"I mean, if he's not the best, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL, superstar," Kolb said on Philadelphia sports-radio station WIP, according to the site. "For a guy like that to say something about me, it means a lot. And it's awfully flattering, and I hope that if something happens, their name comes up."
