“TedMiami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano hasn't been happy with what's been going on with his wide receivers so he may move starter Ted Ginn Jr.(notes) a few rungs down on the depth chart, according to the Miami Herald.

Sparano apparently didn't let Ginn practice with the first or second teams yesterday. Ouch. Instead, Sparano had Davone Bess(notes), Greg Camarillo(notes), and rookie Brian Hartline(notes) taking turns so he could get a closer look at them.

Ginn hasn't officially lost his starting job but it's looking pretty good that he will soon enough if he doesn't pull in a few more balls come Sunday. "We'll see where we are at the end of the week,'' Sparano said to the paper. "Right now, I'm just upsetting the whole apple cart to see how this thing goes."

Never should have drafted him with the 9th pick. He was not that good. Bess should be starting...that guy catches everything!!!

Its still appropriate to slap a 'broham' around to get them to try harder and behave well.
Vertskate and Terry can teach any man how to 'pull in some balls', along with draining a shaft as well.

Ginn has been a liability. Until he overcomes his case of dropsy, he deserves to be on the practice squad.

Ginn may be a good receiver, but not worthy of being the number one draft choice. Miami Dolphins made too many mistakes that are tough to swallow, they should have drafted a quarter back instead of Ginn, letting Drew Brees get away, letting Wess Walker go to New England and many more. The best thing they have done since the departure of Shula was getting the Tuna, and keep in mind that the head coach is still an experiment, this is only his second year as a head coach. I do feel good about them, and that's only because of the tuna.I have been waiting since 1974 for the Dolphins to bounce back, yes Dan Marino's era was great, but we didn't win the trophy, and if you're a football fan, nothing else matters regardless of how many wins you have or had during a season or a life time, the super Bowl trophy is what's it's all about. That's what history and people remember only.

Not only should this overrated, over-hyped, underachieving, flash in the pan, wannabe, wide receiver be knocked down a rings on the ladder; but he should be placed inactive for a few Sundays! Now, if you want to know how I really feel about Ted Ginn, I'd say I hate this slow, poor route running, can't catch a cold, waste of a roster spot wannabe!! They need to remove him from the team at the end of the year and I'm sure some "desperate" team will be willing to part with a draft pick or two if they can include him as a package with our 2 lousy inside linebackers. Crowder get's run over by half-backs and he certainly can't cover anyone! Adele or whatever his name is has been a letdown as well. I want to see more of Cameron Wake. I know Sparano watches these guys everyday and I'm sure he tries to put the best team on the field every Sunday, but game after game, come on man. Send everyone including the kitchen sink. That's how they rattled Brees early last Sunday, and then Pasqualoni went into a 3-4 man rush the whole back half. He picked them apart with time. I don't understand why week after week, coaches continue to call soft "D" with no pressure!! When we see, week after week, that pressure on the q.b. is your only chance!! No.... they would rather get picked apart 10-15 yards at a time, just like the Saints did Sunday. "They are who we thought they were!! Now, if you want to crown their arses, then crown them, but they are who we thought they were!! And we let them off the hook!!" Oh the famous Denny Greene press conference certainly seemed appropriate to every Dolphin fan last Sunday. I know I was not feeling good at all when the Saints scored right before halftime. I certainly had visions of the Monday night meltdown running through my head as soon as that game went to the half. Terrible play calling, penalties, and piss poor tackling certainly was our downfall last week, but with a very young secondary, we'll have to get through the growing pains and learn from these mistakes. I do believe if given the chance to get enough reps in a game that Chad Henne will turn out to be a diamond in the ruff. The only thing that can hinder his performance is the wildcat. They have to give him enough consecutive rep's so he can get into a "zone." His field vision is excellent and his poise in the pocket is impressive. If he is given a real threat down field, I'm sure he will bring us back to the Marino day's when we saw the q.b. in a "zone" making "all of the throws" and being smart with the ball. We always had a chance with Dan back there, and by no means am i comparing the 2 q.b.'s but, I do believe this kid will be the best q.b. we've seen since "Dan the Man!" Just beat the jets baby!!

#5...WTF...The Chads have been putting the ball directly between his hands...this guy just can't catch it...seems nervous. I have kept the faith since day one that MAYBE there was some Steve Smith in this guy. I have lost faith though. He probably needs a change of scenery to amount to anything at this point.

The only good news we can hang on is the fact that Miami hasn't lost a game in their division yet,so if they keep it up,that may be the only chance we may have to get into the playoffs. Thank god to AFN news,I don't know who the hell ownes it,but they show us almost all the games in Iraq.Three stations offer 2 doulble headers plus the Sunday and Monday night football, and the rest of the week they show us reruns of the rest of the games. Also soecial thanks to ESPN,they sure keeps us informed with all the news.

I can't understand the people supporting Ginn by saying if he had a better QB he'd be a decent receiver. Doesn't matter who throws it to him...HE CAN'T CATCH!!! The interception and return for a TD in the third quarter was all Ginn's fault. The ball hit him in the hands and he couldn't hold onto it. Think Reggie Wayne would have dropped that one? Nope.
    Ginn is a bust!
    That's all....

Davone Best may not have the size and speed the NFL craves, but the kid can catch passes. When you get down to it, that is all the really matters in Miami. Ginn hasn't done that.

Post #5.. You must be an Ohio State fan, because if you're watching the same games as I am since he has been drafted, then you need to get your eyes checked.. He cost Henne the pick six, which by the way, would have been a first down and move the chains on the first possesion of the second half, which changed the game by the way.. And then he drops a wide open pass on the last drive of the game, for a first down again.. I don't care if Dan Marino is throwing him the ball, HE BLOWS.. Good college players are not always good NFL players..

#19 I agree. I remember them saying the same thing about Wes Welker when he came out of Texas Tech and was playing for the Dolphins. Speed and size don't necessarily matter if you can get open and catch the ball.
The only issue I have with Bess is that he struggles to get open sometimes. If he can work on that, he could be a poor-man's Wes Welker.

If all you can do is catch a deep ball then you aren't a starting WR in the league...
as for the "slap a broham" dumbass, its called motivation. If you don't perform up to expectations then it means one of two things...A) you aren't properly motivated or B) the expectations were too high.
They're going to go with the motivation solution for now, its not about race you simpleton.
