DeAngelo Hall

After the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Oakland Raiders a week ago, former Falcon DeAngelo Hall waited in the tunnel for one of his former teammates — not to exchange pleasantries, but to fight.

Profootballtalk.com, citing a report on an Atlanta radio station, said Hall waited to fight an unnamed Falcon.

Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking recently mentioned the incident during a spot with Buck and Kincade on 680 The Fan in Atlanta. Here's what Brooking said, without naming the former teammate in question.

"One of our ex-players, sitting there in the tunnel, waiting on us to come through the halftime to pick a fight with one of my teammates," Brooking said. "I'm just sitting there as I'm going to the locker room thinking, ‘Geez, man, I mean, I'm so glad we're removed from all that mess.' You know, because of the camaraderie that we have as a team from a players standpoint, the relationships we've developed with our coaches. I mean, it's a great working relationship."

This guy is easily the most overrated db to come down the pike in a lot of years! I'll bet the other player was probably a wide receiver! If you saw the game, you he got toasted like a frozen waffle. Quit cryin'!!!!!

Deangelo Hall is scared to tackle and he's tenative at best when he's guarding someone. He plays to soft for the raiders man to man, he looked cofused out there. He would get burned with the long ball and even on a curl route because no one would throw the ball to Asomugha side. He got singled out every game and couldn't handle the pressure by making personal fouls after personal fouls. His speed wasn't as assest to the raiders it actually hurt us cause he was didn't want to get beat down the field which we all know how that went.

He's headed for a real life role in the Longest Yard. Another spoiled millionaire player who just doesn't get it.

Another example of just how mature these pampered, prima donna NFL "stars" really are. Little boys in a mans body.

D Hall is the worse DB in the NFL. He was a college standout with great speed, however, once he entered the NFL and discovered that there are several players faster, smarter and better, he could not compensate. This is going to sound stupid, but I think it has a lot to do with corner backs trying to emulate Deion Sanders. Deion turned the corner back position to one of the highest paid positions in the league. These "wanna be" Deions, Pac-Man Jones, De Angelo Hall, Devon Bush all have attempted to play like Sanders and of course wear #21. Its ridiculous. Whatever happened to players executing like, Ronnie Lott, and winning championships?

In one respect it shows that money is not the sole key to inner happiness and that De Angelo is still human.

Hall's gone... now we just have to get rid of Davis and maybe we can head in the right direction. By the way, Hall was terrible. I think he caught the Randy Moss fever when he came to town.

people are suspecting hall's erratic behavior played a part in his release from the raiders. i'm taking the raiders on their word on this one - that it was football decision only. in every measurable way, hall was the worst corner in the game this year. when you KNOW the ball is coming your way on passing downs (cause its not going to the other side) and you still can't do anything about it, you flat out stink. time to give someone else a chance.

not to change the subject, but did any of you watch the cleveland game on thursday night? brady quinn looked like he had been in the league for 5 years. jamarcus has, and always will have, that deer in the headlights look. al strikes again. quinn had been in that charlie weiss nfl offense for four years. he was ready to go. jamarcus will be a bust. go sharks.

I am glad the rest of the league is getting to see what a cancer D. Hall is on a team...Hall is the opitome of the ME in team. I can't believe he signed with any team, injuries be d[profane]d, they should have pulled someone off the practice squad and let him stew for a while....yeah that would be collusion, but so what.
