Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber(notes) may have a quadriceps strain but that is apparently not stopping him from practicing or planning to play in next Monday night's game, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The 222-pounder took part in at least the part of practice yesterday that media was allowed to watch, mostly warm-up drills, and looked good, according to the paper, but he didn't say definitively whether he would be in the game Monday against the Carolina Panthers or not.
"I'm good," Barber told the gathered media. "I'm good today, I'll be [good] tomorrow and then up to Monday." Asked if this was good news, Barber said understatedly, "Can't complain. Great news."
Guess that's why they call him the Barbarian.
