When your team is 1-10, it's likely not that hard to want to miss the rest of the year and avoid all further embarrassments. That's apparently what's going on with Cleveland Browns nose tackle, Shaun Rogers(notes), the best defensive player on the team, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Rogers reportedly has an injury to his right ankle or Achilles tendon. He left the locker room on crutches and his face showing signs of pain.
Linebacker David Bowens(notes) said after the game, "It's bad to see him on crutches like that. Baby is one of those players that wants to be in there making plays for us and right now he's really frustrated -- and it's totally understandable."
One imagines that this is a situation that Rogers doesn't want to hear his nickname, Big Baby, being used. See, even when he's injured, he can't avoid embarrassment.

One of the dumbest, most immature things I think I've ever read by someone posing as a professional writer.
