Cornerback Leigh Bodden(notes) was unceremoniously cut by the New England Patriots last week and then made it through waivers unclaimed, but that doesn't mean that nobody wants him.
ProFootballTalk reports that Bodden visited the Kansas City Chiefs Wednesday, but he has not been signed. PFT points out that Bodden played under Chiefs defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel when they were both with the Cleveland Browns.
Bodden came into the league with the Browns in 2003 after going undrafted out of Duquesne. His best year was with Cleveland in 2007-2008 when he pulled down six touchdowns and was in on 88 tackles. In five games this year, the 30-year-old has had 13 unassisted tackles and has helped out on four others.
