Carolina's Jenkins headed to Jets?

This could be the day the Carolina Panthers part ways with Kris Jenkins, their three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle according to the Charlotte Observer.

Sources said Thursday he might be dealt to the New York Jets, probably for draft pick compensation. Carolina likely would prefer either the Jets' second- or third-round picks in this year's draft. Both choices are in the top five of those rounds.

Giving up a 3rd and a 5th for Jenkins in this draft (unbelievably deep draft) is ludicrous, especially after only getting a conditional 2009 pick from the Saints for Vilma. TannenBUM is once again proving he is in over his head!! This draft is extremely deep and giving up 2 picks, including a high 3rd rounder for the question mark that Jenkins is is a joke!
Now TannenBUM will probably only get a 4th rounder for Robertson (if he doesn't flat out cut him). Matt Millen has some competition in the running for most incompetant GM in the league!!

Be very aware what you are doing? Mr. T. The draft is loaded,so donot give anything higher than a 4th or as a previous fan wrote Robertson and a 5th. Fanaca would be good, least we forget last years mess with a former lineman.

How come people complain when the Jets do nothing to upgrade the team and then complain when they do something???? Jenkins is better suited to the 3-4 then Robertson was. Vilma was not suited to play in 3-4 either. I like the 3-4 because it gives more options like blitzing. Don't the P'rats play a 3-4, they been sucessful lately

Has not been the same since the 2005 injury, but still a good player if you don't have to give up higher then a 3rd.
