“AnquanArizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin(notes) couldn't finish out the victory against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and the word is that he had a high ankle sprain, according to the East Valley Tribune.

Boldin is saying he'll be back next Sunday when the Cards visit the New York Giants. But there is a real possibility that he won't be ready for action by next weekend and the team throws Steve Breaston(notes) into Boldin's spot.

Boldin created a big stir in Arizona back in 2007 when he requested a trade because his fellow wide receiver Larry Johnson(notes) got a four-year, $40 million deal.

who edits this stuff. I have found many fact-based mistakes on yahoo sports. Larry Johnson is a Running Back for the Chiefs. Larry Fitzgerald is a WR for the Cards as #1 pointed out.

This guy must be an Ivy League schmuck that is used to writing about politics, and not sports.

Come on guys give Mark a break it is still a recession, maybe Yahoo can't afford an editor in the budget.
Or maybe half the writers on here belong back on the blogs they came from.

Once again, Mark Miller shows his ridiculous ineptitude as a writer. Hey no.4 (Ken S), Yahoo doesn’t have an editor for Miller. He’s unpaid and on his own, unbelievable as that sounds. Talk about a black eye for Yahoo Sports. He pulls article from original sources, adds a few dopey and (usually) inaccurate comments of his own and prints them. He adds no value whatsoever.

Mark Miller absolutely refuses to acknowledge or correct his many mistakes (let alone apologize). I wonder if he goes home at night thinking he's done a good job for football fans without realizing what a fool he regularly makes of himself.

Hey #7 - Who cares about your fantasy football team. Why is there always one person that feels the need to tell everyone who is on their pretend football team. And to wish injury on someone for your fantasy football team, that just ain't right. I am tempted to say, "Typical Cowboys fan", but I am sure there are 1 or 2 decent Cowboy fans out there.

I can't believe Mike Miller would make such an inaccuracy in his column. Come on, have a little pride in your job. What's that?. It's mark Miller, not Mike? OOPS. No big deal. What's in a name anyhow. I bet if his name on his paycheck was wrong, he'd crap his pants til it was corrected.

It is an ankle, not like he is having heart problems..... I would say Fantasy Football has more people watching and pulling for players and teams than ever! You never wish an injury but I would say tons of people have back up RB's and if the starter gets a bad ankle or gets traded or holds out... whatever.... it is an exciting headline for the Fantasy Owner. I play in leagues with 50-60 yr old Doctors, Dentist, Teachers, Football Coachs.... you name it, I've even wanted to host my own site it has become so popular..... So I would have to agree more with #7 hands down! Just so happens I'm a Cowboy fan too...

seems as though boldin is more troublethan he is worth. if he's not whining then he is out with an injury. i believe arizona would be much better off trading him while he till has some trade value.
