Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said he wasn't the first man to cut himself shaving with a straight razor. He also isn't the first player to try and hide an injury from his team, either.
Briggs, the Pro Bowl linebacker, who sustained a minor cut on his right palm while shaving, returned to voluntary workouts Tuesday without limitation, according to the Chicago Tribune.
"I'm definitely not going to miss the season," Briggs said with sarcasm. "I'm not the first person to cut themselves with a grooming mechanism."
The minor injury was revealed after the Sun-Times published a photo of the player signing autographs in Algonquin last weekend. Briggs, who is left-handed, had bandages around his right hand in the photo.
Team trainer Tim Bream examined Briggs on Tuesday and the linebacker worked out with a bandage covering the cut. Briggs had been a regular participant in the program until Monday. Briggs laughed at the suggestion he might be disciplined for not immediately reporting the mishap.

"Bears arent any better than the Lions"
You are a 5hithead. The Lions last we checked were 0-16. Every team in the NFL is better than the Lions.
Just a history review for the Pack and their fans: You guys were on top in the mid/late 60's with Lombardi, Starr, and all. After that you guys were invisible for what 25 years? Now that the Favre era is over guess what? Time for another 25 years of NOTHING..........Fade to black..........
Aaron Rodgers. Please. This guy could be out of football in 2 years. He sucks.
