The NFL trading deadline is at 4 p.m. Eastern today and the Cleveland Browns might do some wheeling and dealing before the day is done, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Defensive end Corey Williams(notes) might be on the block and nose tackle Shaun Rogers(notes) could end up going to the New York Jets since the team just lost Kris Jenkins(notes) for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Rogers apparently wanted the team to release him this off-season but then changed his mind. This would be a good opportunity for the team to send him packing and not worry about future emotional outbursts.
Browns head coach Eric Mangini said, "There's nothing that's imminent. But you never know. Things happen. I'm not saying that it's impossible."
