QB Trent Edwards is expected to return to the starting lineup when Buffalo plays at Tennessee Sunday.
"I feel I'm getting better each day, getting stronger and just pretty happy with my progress right now," Edwards said.
Before his injury, Edwards was struggling badly playing behind a young offensive line and trying to handle the nuances of a no-huddle attack that has since been scrapped by the coaches. Edwards completed fewer than 60 percent of his throws with five touchdowns, six interceptions, 19 sacks and a 73 rating. The Bills were 1-4 with him under center.

Edwards (concussion) came through the bye week practices fine according to head coach Dick Jauron, but naming a starting QB is not a decision he can make at this point, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Recommendation: With the Bills having a bye this week, we'd be pretty surprised if Edwards wasn't the starter again in Week 10, though Jauron will be as deliberate as possible on the decision, which is pretty much his M.O. on everything when it comes to coaching. At least in this case, we're talking about an injury that needs to be monitored carefully.
