Edwards' teammate Ryan Fitzpatrick has been confirmed as this week's starter by interim coach Perry Fewell, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Recommendation: While we don't necessarily agree with this call, it's probably safe to go ahead and dump Edwards if you've been holding onto him in deep leagues. Even if he does re-gain the starter's job, this offense can't move the ball and the offensive line stinks.

QB Trent Edwards days as Buffalo's starter could be over. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick was named the starter for Sunday's game at Jacksonville, and while interim coach Perry Fewell said he would name his starter on a week-to-week basis, should Fitzpatrick play well, there will be no reason to take him out of the lineup.
So Edwards must sit and wait for his next chance. His play has regressed this season and currently he ranks 24th among NFL passers with a 74.1 rating.

Edwards was yanked from a 41-17 loss to Tennessee on Sunday after going 18 of 28 for 185 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
Advice: Edwards was struggling before the interception, which was returned for a touchdown with 2:54 left. He missed a wide-open Terrell Owens at one point, and Bills coach Dick Jauron didn't give a definitive answer when asked if Edwards will start at Jacksonville on Sunday. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick has struggled, too, so there's not much fantasy value here regardless.
