Norwood practiced Friday for the second straight day after missing Atlanta's last four games with a hip flexor. Advice: The Falcons (5-4) hope Norwood, who is listed as questionable for Sunday, can help stabilize his position when they visit the New York Giants (5-4). Pro Bowl running back Michael Turner is sidelined with a high ankle sprain and not expected to play. He did not practice this week and is listed as doubtful. Though Norwood is unlikely to start, the four-year veteran has spent most of his career as a backup to Turner and the retired Warrick Dunn. |

Recommendation: More on Norwood's status Friday, but Thursday's participation is a positive step for him after missing four straight games.
