Coach Jim Mora said Wednesday that Jones (bruised lung) will not play Sunday against Minnesota, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.
Recommendation: "He says he's feeling good, but he won't be available Sunday," Mora said. "Hopefully next week. We have to be careful though." Justin Forsett will start against the Vikings, with Louis Rankin serving as the top backup.

Jones is likely to miss at least Sunday's game at Minnesota because of a bruised lung.
Advice: Coach Jim Mora said Monday that what was thought to be a cracked rib sustained in the first quarter of Seattle's loss at Arizona on Sunday is a bruised lung. Doctors had Jones stay behind overnight in an Arizona hospital as a precaution. Jones flew back to Seattle Monday morning.
