The Detroit Lions have announced they have re-signed free-agent FB Moran Norris. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

FB Moran Norris signed Monday, taking the open roster spot left when S Gerald Alexander went on injured reserve.

The Lions signed Norris on Thursday.
Advice: Norris, a two-year starter, was waived by the San Francisco 49ers during training camp. He has started 30 games and contributed on special teams since being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2001 draft.
