McAllister hardly looked like he was playing on two reconstructed knees when he bowled over tacklers for first downs, moved the pile or dived over it for his first touchdown of the season Sunday against San Francisco, when he rushed 20 times for 73 yards and a score in the Saints' 31-17 win.
Advice: McAllister, who had right knee reconstructions in 2005 and last year, got the majority of the carries over Reggie Bush, and if he's feeling healthy, he could become a playable option even in New Orleans' pass-happy offense. "I can still play another quarter," McAllister said after Sunday's game. "The important question is, how is it feeling in the morning?"
