Pretty cool to see former Parkland baseball coach Jon Goebel get a World Series ring from the Texas Rangers this week. Goebel, who coached the Cobras from 2019 through 2021, is now the pitching coach with the Class AA Frisco RoughRiders in the Rangers' organization. The former Illini All-American defensive tackle will be with friends and family in Florida on Thursday night when the first round kicks off in Detroit.
