Jun 16 Green acted as the Packers' No. 1 running back from start to finish during spring workouts, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Recommendation: Despite an injury-plagued first two seasons, Green still managed to lead the team in rushing, accumulating 135 carries for 464 yards (3.4 YPC) and no touchdowns. However, the backfield situation in Green Bay is far from settled, as rookies Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin are still taking in a voluminous playbook, and DuJuan Harris (upper body) and James Starks could make their presence felt. Training camp and preseason tilts will ultimately determine whether Green is able to win the No. 1 gig.
