It was brokered in the backroom of a state Senate caucus and built in a polluted swamp. Giants Stadium _ home to the Giants, Jets and Cosmos _ had a 34-year run. It hosted the Pope and Springsteen. The final game is Sunday, when the Jets try to nail down a playoff berth.
