Famous squads like the New Orleans Saints' Saintsations, or the prestigious Dallas Cowboys' cheerleading team, likely come to mind when you think of elite NFL cheerleaders, but the New York Jets' Flight Crew more than holds its own with the best of the best. The New York Giants don't have a cheerleading crew or dance team, so the Jets hold the advantage in that category.

Here's a look at the top five hottest members of the New York Jets 2011-12 Flight Crew:

1) Alyse

While Alyse was just a rookie on the Flight Crew in the 2011-12 season, she became an instant fan favorite because of her incredible smile, beautiful brown eyes and winning attitude.

A native of Scarsdale, New York, Alyse is an actress by trade and was named Miss New York 2009 by the Miss America Organization. "I love the fact that all Jets fans have huge hearts for the team and the Flight Crew. They get so excited when they see us and feel that the Jets aren't untouchable," she says in her team bio. "It's so nice to be part of a team that is so humbly received by their fans."

2) Ryann

It takes more than just good looks to be a New York Jets Flight Crew cheerleader. The girls need to have plenty of toughness to withstand dance routines through freezing cold temperatures in a New Jersey winter, and that's exactly what Ryann can offer.

Ryann, a dance teacher from Massapequa Park, New York, is a five-year veteran of the squad and she has all the intangibles to make her a fan favorite. She has bright blue eyes, Taylor Swift-esque blond hair, a killer body and a fun personality.

3) Amanda

Amanda, a third-year Flight Crew veteran, is a native of Danville, CA. According to her questionnaire on the Jets' website, she hopes to work in choreography, music production and editing in the future, and start a family down the road.

Amanda says she loves Jets fans because "they are unconditional, whether we win or lose, or despite the weather conditions, the Jets fans are always there cheering on our great team."

4) Colleen K.

Colleen, a special education teacher from Lynbrook, New York, was a Flight Crew rookie in 2011-12.

Jets fans immediately fell in love with her epic dance routines, cute personality, and jaw-dropping good looks. As far as her career aspirations, she says "I have a Master's Degree in Special Education, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education. I would love to be a first or second grade special education teacher. Teaching and helping children is my passion."

5) Gina

Gina, a dance instructor from West Babylon, New York, has been a Flight Crew cheerleader for two seasons.

Not only is she a Jets cheerleader, but she has also appeared in television commercials as a spokesperson for Lucille Roberts health clubs for women, located throughout the New York tri-state area.
