Vikings sign DT Evans
EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA (TICKER)—The Minnesota Vikings on Monday re-signed restricted free-agent defensive tackle Fred Evans.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Evans played in every game for Minnesota in 2008, starting the final two regular-season games and a postseason game against Philadelphia.
A seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2006, Evans had 17 tackles last season. He registered five tackles and one sack in 11 games with Minnesota in 2007.
