Texans sign QB Gray

HOUSTON (TICKER) —The Houston Texans on Monday signed quarterback Quinn Gray.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gray, entering his fifth season, started four games last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars after David Garrard was injured. He went 2-2 as a starter and passed for 986 yards and 10 touchdowns over eight games.

Gray obviously impressed the Texans in last season’s finale, when he passed for 302 yards and a franchise-record four touchdowns in a 42-28 loss to Houston.
