Chiefs release QB Gray

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (TICKER) —The Kansas Chiefs on Wednesday terminated the contract of quarterback Quinn Gray, who played in only one game for the team last season.

The four-year veteran completed 7-of-8 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in a 54-31 loss to Buffalo on November 23.

Gray spent the first three seasons as a backup in Jacksonville and has played in only 12 career games, completing 108-of-188 passes for 1,328 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions.
