Browns sign OL McKinney to 1-year deal

CLEVELAND (TICKER) —The Cleveland Browns signed offensive lineman Seth McKinney to a one-year contract Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 315-pound McKinney started eight games for the Browns at right guard last season before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the rest of the campaign.

“With (McKinney’s) versatility as a guard and center, this signing should solidify the interior part of our offensive line,” Browns general manager Phil Savage said. “At this point, we feel we have seven starters competing for five positions.”
