Update: Coffee (concussion) will not play in Thursday’s game against the Bears, Santa Rosa Press-Democrat’s Matt Maiocco reports.

Recommendation: Coach Mike Singletary said he has not considered recently released Larry Johnson(notes) as an option. Michael Robinson(notes) will likely get the backup carries behind Frank Gore(notes) with Coffee out.

    Whoops, sorry thought Coffee played for Green Bay, another reason for them losing to the Bucs. Sorry Coffee ,hope you feel better.......
