Dolphins' Crowder, Ferguson ruled out for Sunday's game at New England
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Linebacker Channing Crowder(notes) and nose tackle Jason Ferguson(notes) will miss the Miami Dolphins' game at New England on Sunday.
The Dolphins downgraded both players on their injury report to out, weakening their defence for the matchup against Tom Brady(notes) and the Patriots. Crowder missed last Sunday's win against the New York Jets with a left shoulder injury, and Ferguson has an elbow injury.
Reggie Torbor(notes) is expected to replace Crowder in the lineup and Paul Soliai(notes) is in line for the first start of his three-year career with Ferguson out.
The Dolphins also announced Saturday night that they signed rookie linebacker J.D. Folsom(notes) off their practice squad and released linebacker William Kershaw(notes).
