Titans’ Gage out 2nd game
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Tennessee receiver Justin Gage(notes) is out for the Titans’ game against the Texans with broken bones in his lower back.
Gage has not practiced since breaking the transverse process bones in his back at San Francisco on Nov. 8. Rookie Kenny Britt(notes) will make a second consecutive start at Houston on Monday night.
Coach Jeff Fisher also ruled out linebacker Colin Allred(notes) because of a hamstring that kept him out of a third straight practice Saturday.
Starting linebacker David Thornton(notes) (hip) and defensive tackle Jason Jones(notes) (shoulder) were limited Saturday, and Fisher said both will be questionable Monday.
Safety Kevin Kaesviharn(notes) missed practice for a personal matter and Fisher is hoping he will play in the game.
