RB Moats will get start over Slaton for Texans

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—Houston running back Ryan Moats(notes) will start in place of Steve Slaton(notes) on Sunday, and Indianapolis will be without cornerback Kelvin Hayden(notes).

Slaton was benched last week because of fumbling problems.

Indy put Hayden, defensive tackle Fili Moala(notes), running back Donald Brown(notes), receiver Anthony Gonzalez(notes) and kicker Adam Vinatieri(notes) on the inactive list. All are injured.

Tight end Tom Santi(notes) and former starting left tackle Tony Ugoh(notes) were healthy scratches.

Houston deactivated receiver Glenn Martinez(notes), defensive backs Fred Bennett(notes) and Dominique Barber(notes), defensive tackles DelJuan Robinson(notes) and Frank Okam(notes), tight end James Casey(notes) and guard Tutan Reyes(notes). Casey, Barber and Robinson were all on this week’s injury report.

    not lookin good but saints r 2nd half team....but sometimes a loss is good..one or two losses sometimes makes teams stronger...look what happened to the pats!!! oh btw,,,,,texans gave the game away today!!! dang!

    Hey Noah...benched MEANS not starting. It MEANS that if you've got Slaton on your fantasy team, he's not likely to get many touches in this game. If he's all you have, then he might get you something, but I'd go with someone else if I have the option.
