the whole Blame should not go to the no talent QB, injuries in the line also an upgrade of the playbook, hell it's the same plays offence and defence since the 70s a little change can help. What is the definition of insanity, doing the same DAMN thing OVER & over again expecting something different to happen. San Diego Is a conferance game They Know the Raider Playbook. IT doesnt change, the team is predictable, MR Davis has ADD, looking at what was. San Diego IS NOT a good Team, The western Division is BAD. I hope The Best For The Raiders And Mr. Davis But I dont think I will see another Raider Victory for years to come. At least 2 wins in a row. I feel for the Detroit Fans now, Jmarcus should save his money, he has no hope or ability in football.

But it is up to the Raider organization and the team as a whole that will determine the speed of that clock. Maybe a boycott would be good, but it will not improve Russell's game. He deserves to be benched, I have read that Russell doesn't come to practices or shows up late, putting on more weight whe he was told to lose weight, so really he does what he wants to do. Why isn't he benched for those reasons?. We want more and expect more, make it happen, AL.

I read a post a couple of weeks back. The poster said we should boycott the Raiders for just two weeks. This is not a bad idea.send a message to the higher ups of the Raider org. Two weeks of empty seats at two home games will mean no
team merchandise being sold, no food and drinks being sold and poor parking revenues. What better way to get a message out to the team ,,,,,,,,no money in take , at two home games . Not to mention two blackouts will cause serious damage to revenue taken in. This is a statement to the team , a threat confirming
we the fans of the Oakland Raiders will not stand for management making a mockery of this once iconic team . They dose not think so , but we can severely
hurt this team by not spending the money at home games . It is only fitting , we
conduct our only mutiny . this team as all the other NFL teams , rely on the fans and their money . If you purchase a defective car , you go straight to the dealer
and demand the problem corrected . If you buy a steak at the grocery store and
it is spoiled , you march right back to the grocer and demand your money back or you never shop at these places again . This is the same scenario . Dont
pay into their wallets !

as a RAIDERS fan I'll have balls to say yeah that we do SUCK and we don't give a rats ass about it at least my team is not full of banwagons like the stupid SD Chargers. and i do agree that Russel should not play cause to say he does suck butt I'm NEVER going to let my team down and i could care less if people talk about my team at least i know i stick to them...

Moving the Raiders back to LA will NOT make the team better. I know the thinking is they would have more money to sign better players, but that is not the problem with this team. The REAL problem is the internal philosophy of this team which comes straight from the top of the organization until that changes this team will remain right where they are.

Al Davis was a great owner and can be again if he would just wake up and realize that it is 2009 not 1975, so until Al let's go of that philosphy he has on running this team the team will not change. I know for a fact that this the problem with the team.

It is not all on Russell. I agree that he has played real bad and was glad to see him benched Sunday. I was at the game and believe me the crowd was ready to walk out of that game if Russell was not taken out of the game. Actually I think the crowd was ready to do something much worst to Russell then just walk out.

These thoughts are not just mine I have friends that play for the Raiders I will not mention their names but during our conversations yesterday after the game this is what we talked about.

I'm glad their blacked out... would you really want to watch this team?

Note to Oakland Raiders: Please go back to LA so we can watch you lose on TV. Every game is blacked out in the Bay Area.

#152, Gruden did not want to be a coach anymore, I am sure that if he wants then Al David must agree these facts:

1) Gruden makes the call for every play in game not Al David
2) Gruden must be a coach and General manager also Gruden has all the decisions for all the picks.
3) Higher pay check (since a lot of NFL teams also want Gruden)
4) Gruden has all the power in games.

i agree that davis needs 2 ride off into the sunset and that going back 2 la wud not b bad 4 them...but 2 say that their 02 superbowl appearance was luck i do not. if your in the playoffs 3 years in a row and have the first round bye is it luck? or just ppl talkin bout a team they dont follow...or 4 that matter a sport they dont even watch?!

sad, sad, sad... JaMarcus is yet -another- botched Raider draft pick. The organization has been in disarray since, well since leaving L.A., save for a single lucky trip to the super bowl in that time. Seems like it's more snake-bit than mismanagement though, there simply isn't enough talent on the team to help support these high draft choices to succeed. Look, Al Davis really should consider stepping aside from team management type decisions, something like Red Auerbach did with the Celtics. Sad thing is, with all the money the Raiders have spent on free-agents over the years, the number of high draft picks, it still doesn't help. Honestly, they should look at returning to L.A., they were great their years there and L.A. is about to start building a mega-stadium.

Been a Raider fan for 40 years, this is the low point. The whole bunch sucks, from Al on down. Here ios what we need to do now:
Get rid of Russell. Go find a known factor, like Garcia.
Get rid of Al as the daily decision maker.
Sell the team this summer and move it to LA, and get Pete Carroll to coach. If he won't come over, get Neuheisal. Either one would be fine.
In the mean time, get rid of Cable too and put Flores back as interum coach. If he won't do it, call Gruden back short term, hell maybe even long term.
OR hire Micky Mouse because ANYONE would be better than what we have now!
