STREAKS

The Indianapolis Colts earned their 20th straight regular-season victory with a 35-27 win over Houston. Indianapolis (11-0) is one win shy of the New England Patriots’ NFL-record 21-game run from 2006-08. The Colts can tie the record if they beat Tennessee at home next weekend. … The Colts have come back from a fourth-quarter deficit in each of their past five games and are the first team in NFL history to win five in a row when trailing in the fourth quarter in each contest. … The Colts improved to 15-1 against Houston. … Houston has lost three straight games. … The Steelers have lost three in a row. … The Chargers have won six in a row. … The Titans have won five in a row. They are the first team to win five straight after starting 0-6. … The Bengals have won nine of the past 11 against the Browns. … The Browns reached double-digit losses for the eighth time in their 11 years as an expansion team. … The Redskins have lost nine straight road games. … The Rams have lost 11 in a row at home and 10 in a row to the Seahawks. … San Francisco has lost five of six since a 3-1 start.

MILESTONES

Brett Favre matched former Vikings defensive lineman Jim Marshall for the NFL non-kicker record of 282 straight games played. … LaDainian Tomlinson(notes) moved into 10th place on the NFL’s career rushing list. He has 12,257 for his career. Up next is Marshall Faulk(notes) in ninth with 12,279 yards. … Interim coach Perry Fewell earned his first career victory in Buffalo’s 31-14 win over Miami. … The Jaguars’ Maurice Jones-Drew(notes) became a 1,000-yard rusher for the first time in his career. … Donovan McNabb(notes) set an Eagles record for quarterbacks by playing in his 143rd game.

STATS

Titans running back Chris Johnson matched the NFL mark held by Earl Campbell (1980) and Eric Dickerson (1984) by running for at least 125 yards in his sixth straight game. Johnson topped 125 yards Sunday, and he also turned in the most yards rushing in November, a mark previously held by Barry Sanders (1997). … Cleveland’s offense has scored seven or fewer points seven times this season. … The announced attendance of 47,475 at the Rams-Seahawks game was their worst in 15 seasons in St. Louis. … The Jaguars’ Torry Holt(notes) made a reception for the 164th consecutive game and passed Andre Reed to move into 10th place on the career list for yards receiving at 13,226. … LaRod Stephens-Howling’s TD return was the first by a Cardinals rookie since Roy Green’s 106-yard return at Dallas on Oct. 21, 1979.

SIDELINED

Atlanta lost offensive stars Matt Ryan(notes) and Michael Turner(notes) to injuries, and the Falcons wouldn’t say how serious they are. Ryan, the second-year quarterback, hurt his big right toe on Atlanta’s first series in a 20-17 victory over Tampa Bay. Turner reinjured his right ankle during the third quarter, a high sprain that had kept the running back out of the previous game and limited him in practice. … Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson(notes) suffered a concussion in Philadelphia’s 27-24 win over Washington. Jackson left the game after he was hit on a catch late in the third quarter. Jackson has developed into Philadelphia’s No. 1 wide receiver this season with 44 catches for 769 yards and six touchdowns. He caught a 35-yard TD. … Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman(notes) left San Diego’s 43-14 win over the Chiefs with a foot injury in the second quarter and did not return.

SPEAKING

“That’s a good team over there, but we’re the Colts. We do things the right way and we try to get every win we can get.”—Colts linebacker Clint Session after Sunday’s 35-27 win over the Houston Texans.

“We’ve had some finishes around here, but I can’t remember one like that. Just a tremendous finish.”—Titans coach Jeff Fisher after quarterback Vince Young threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Britt as time expired, capping an 18-play, 99-yard drive, and leading Tennessee to a 20-17 win over Arizona.

Don't let Belicheat or Brady near a turkey leg, they choke too easily anyway, without any help. Go NFL's greatest player (except Peyton Manning), Drew Brees. SB. undefeated Colts against undefeated Saints, the best yet. Wouldn't that be a game?

did anyone else notice how this article says Garrard had a touchdown in a 20-3 loss? now thats impressive! anyway go Pats!! no disrespect to the saints, but take em down! and someone needs to beat the colts! every team that has a shot always seems to end up beating themselves and losing the lead and the game =( and i have to say that although i hate playing against him, Darrelle Revis is an absolutely phenomenal young corner who is shutting down the best receivers in the game

    here we go again.....
when are fans going to get tired of all the antics of professionals. we have all been professionals during our lifetime. be it a plummer, electirican, or doctor. here is a question.....if we acted the way some of the "sports professionals, and now owners (tennessee titans)are acting would our jobs been terminated? we now have T.O., L.J. ochochinco...what a joke, and now a new recruit......D.B. i especially like (tongue in cheek) the antics of ray lewis and the others who put on more of a show after they do their jobs than the talent it takes for them to do their jobs........enough is enough....to bad the cleveland fans did not have the guts to walk out last night.....maybe thats what all of the NORMAL fans should do...walk out, tune out or turn off...until they clean up their acts....what about the other 90% of the professional sports players...why don't they clean up the "locker rooms" themselves? don't they realize that all players are being lumped together for what a few are doing?

Isn't this all starting to look a bit familiar already - the (one) apparently competent NFC team - the Saints? -against almost half the 'AFC'? - and who will it be? - any one from Indie, the Steelers, Broncos, Pats, Jets - possibly Bengals, Miami, Buffalo, San Diego and Baltimore in the mix too!

The AFC's a cauldron of hot, tough competition - looks like they should have an extra Play Off round to accommodate all the likely 'class' contenders - the NFC could reduce theirs to just a single title game - Saints v's Vikings (perennial chokers) - or, more likely, the Giants, finally picking themselves up?!

Seems a bit weird - pretty much the same every season - how come?!

I would reckon practically all inter-Conference match ups featuring those top AFC teams to end with (big?) AFC wins - until the Super Bowl where equally weird miracles CAN happen - Giants 2008 - still sick as a parrot every time I think of it!

Quite prepared for the barrage of anti-AFC & anti-Pats abuse which is bound to follow! Go for it.

I guess the Rams have a lot farther to go. Seemingly somebody's eyes were wide shut when it come to roster cuts. Chris Draft for instance... If your offense sucks that bad at least keep linebackers who can run sideline to sideline. Goodness gracious what an embarrassment. Maybe Tebow will want you to draft him so you can give Bulger the boot he deserves. Maybe also try a name brand front defensive front.

Shut up roy williams. To get career high passing stats all you gotta do is keep throwing the ball. It has nothing to do with T.O being gone. Romo is the one who decided to spread the ball
