Dolphins TE Fasano to miss second straight game
DAVIE, Fla. (AP)—Miami Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano(notes) has been ruled out of Thursday night’s game at Charlotte because of a hip injury.
Nose tackle Paul Soliai(notes) (ankle) and linebacker Erik Walden(notes) (hamstring), both reserves, were also ruled out Wednesday.
Guard Justin Smiley(notes) (shoulder) and reserve safety Tyrone Culver(notes) (ankle) are questionable, and safety Gibril Wilson(notes) (hamstring) is probable. Running back Ronnie Brown(notes) (foot) was ruled out earlier.
Fasano also missed Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay. Kory Sperry(notes) helped to fill in and caught a touchdown pass in his first NFL game.
